Journey to the Center of the Earth on DS
THQ has announced that Journey to the Center of the Earth for the DS has shipped. The game is based on the Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D film from New Line Cinema and Walden Media.
An exciting adventure based on the classic Jules Verne novel “Journey to the Center of the Earth,” Journey To The Center Of The Earth 3-D stars Brendan Fraser (The Mummy Trilogy) as a science professor whose untraditional hypotheses have made him the laughing stock of the academic community. While on an expedition in Iceland, he and his nephew stumble upon a major discovery that launches them on a thrilling journey deep beneath the Earth’s surface, where they travel through never-before-seen worlds and encounter a variety of unusual creatures.
In the DS game, players will trade between Trevor, Sean and Hannah using each character’s unique abilities and the DS stylus to search for an exit to the surface. The story takes you through all seven exotic locations featured in the movie. Players will also be challenged to various mini-games including rock climbing, rafting across an ancient sea and digging for dinosaur bones. The dead ones are no trouble. It’s the live ones that’ll get you.
Interested gamers can discover Journey to the Center of the Earth for the DS in stores worldwide.
